It was an awesome pleasure to be asked to team up with fellow photographers Martijn Baudoin and Roelof de Vries, agency Media Monks and Google to produce this fantastic tour for Jumeirah, featuring the ‘world most luxurious hotel’, the Burj Al Arab.

It was a pleasure to put on an Oculus Rift Demo for journos and sports dignitaries at Liverpool training academy who had come for the official launch of Furon and Visaro football boots from New Balance.

Users were given a virtual training experience with Aaron Ramsey or Adnan Januzaj, of course wearing the new boots.

The images above show behind the scenes of the setup. 2 Booths, 10 pc’s, 10 Oculus Rifts, and about 40 pairs of ear phones 🙂

We were honored to be asked to help Curve theatre realise a dream of being the first Theatre to put on a full 360 performance of a live show. We had cameras in the audience and onstage in order to gi e numerous vantage points of the action.

Without doubt the longest 360 video we have shot at 2 hours 20 mins, this project bought some unique challenges in production owing to the sheer size of the files involved.

It was released on youtube, for desktop and VR glasses and was available to view for 3 days only (because of rights). It really captured the potential of this medium in theatre allowing users to get closer to the actors than ever before, as well as give a glimpse of what it is like to be onstage.

It had a plethora of online press most notably from the Guardian Newspaper..

It was a privilege to be asked to photograph one the of the most famous and oldest theatres in the world, the place to view Shakespeare’s finest plays, the Globe Theatre.

The location is perfect for 360 and is really beautiful to see in the new Shakespeare’s Globe theatre App which you can download and try here

It was covered by the BBC Click online
