London New Years Fireworks 2009

Happy New Year 2009 !

This has become my favourite thing to do for new years, shooting 360 degree panoramas of London New years eve firework celebrations from Jubilee bridge :)

hope these panoramas help to get your year off with a bang !

peace and panoramas 2009 :)

Hi Tom, I just had a peek at your panoramic shots of the London Fireworks 2009. They are awesome. I do not have enough words to describe them other than to feel miserable about myself. I was also there on that night on the Westminster Bridge with my humble equipment – Canon350D with a 10-20mm Sigma lens with a Remote Shutter Release. Please could you let me know what kind of equipment do you use for capturing these kind of photos?

    Thanks and regards,
    Jugal

    Hi jugal,

I use digital SLR + 15mm fisheye lens with 360precision panohead, tripod, and remote release. I shot 2 panoramas, too dark, cos… sharper fireworks. Did you use a panohead?

Have a good new year !

    tom ;)

Absolutely LOVE these photos!! I used to live in London, and I have been back to visit a few times since then. I will be going back in about month, actually, but I think I must plan to spend New Year’s 2010 there after seeing these amazing pics. Found you on Digg, and I’m so happy I did. :-)
